"Gary replaced the roof and guttering on a rental property for me. The quoted price was the best we obtained. We discussed with Gary whether a full re-roof was required and options for reusing iron to fixup a shed. The initial quote, with various options, was promptly received and Gary gave us a rough indication of when he could start the job. We were informed when the start date was delayed a few days by weather, and received emails while the work was in progress, including photos of the completed job. Given the quality of the workmanship and his reliability and communication, I will be recommending Gary (M J Down) to others." - NickScott
"Gary was referred to me; he called and we discussed the job; the quote arrived the following day. Once I accepted the quote - which was well within my estimated thoughts ; he ordered the materials and was back to carry out the repairs within days. He left the premises tidy and the job well done - he did not require overseeing - I would have no hesitation in calling him again. He also called back to reduce the invoice because the job was quicker to complete than we had estimated.....I am very impressed - he will do well with ethics like that on his side." - wwilliam
